When Wolffe finally encountered Clone Force 99, a critical decision loomed. After consulting with Captain Rex, who had already rebelled against the Empire, Wolffe chose to stand down, refusing to capture or kill the rogue clones. In a moment of deep moral clarity, he allowed them to escape, prioritising his conscience and his bond with his fellow clones over the orders of the Empire.
